Some interesting news today regarding transfers.
Orlando Looking At a Colombian? (@PaulTenorio)
Last night, someone asked respected MLS journalist Paul Tenorio about possible Orlando City transfer news. Paul didn't say a name, but he did say that he was working on learning the details of a possible Colombian TAM player coming to Orlando. My guess is Fredy Montero out of Vancouver. For starters, Vancouver doesn't need him anymore due to the Cavallini transfer. He also makes the most sense regarding a Colombian who would be on a TAM contract considering he holds American second nationality. I'm going to go on record here and say that I would not like Montero in Orlando, as he is 32 and wouldn't be the quality needed to push us into the playoff spots. We might as well save our money and stick with Dwyer. My guess could be very wrong though, so we'll see who the Colombian TAM player is soon.
Junior Urso (meutimao.com)
As was widely reported last night, Corinthians released news that Junior Urso would be leaving the club. The article is not from the Corinthians website itself, but it's clear that they released the news through this medium. The report says that Urso is no longer a Corinthians player and he will be making the move to Orlando City. The report also states that Urso will sign a 4-year contract with Orlando City, which has caused some worry among supporters. My guess is, the contract will be 2 years with a year option at the end of the 3rd and 4th year (should the 3rd year option be exercised), so it shouldn't be something to worry about.
