Daily Update: 1/6/2020

Big day for the club today. I worked from 12 PM - 11 PM so that is why this is coming out so late.

SO. MANY. REPORTS. This one says that his move to us is all but done and he is scheduled to join the team in 2 weeks. With that in mind, I'm done talking about him. He will join us. It is just a matter of time (knock on wood). There will be no more updates on him unless something major happens.

Junior Urso (Corinthians.com.br and @FOX35Adam)

The official Corinthians website announced that Urso is leaving them to join us. That's right. Urso to Orlando City is confirmed! But wait... Why hasn't Orlando City confirmed the transfer? That answer comes from Adam Shadoff, who shared this statement from a club official: "We can only confirm players when the paperwork is done and a contract is signed and right [now] this isn’t the case with this player." The interesting piece of this is the contract bit. My guess is everything is agreed between all parties and the contract will be signed as soon as possible. For what it's worth, I would consider Urso an Orlando City player now.
