Daily Update: 1/26/2020

Nothing went on in the world of Orlando City today but that's not what is going to be discussed today. As we all know, the legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant died today alongside his daughter and 7 other individuals who were aboard a helicopter that ultimately crashed. We can all see the impact Kobe has had on the sport and around the world through the shockwaves going around the mediasphere. Kobe was a man that millions adored and hundreds of millions respected. His mentality in life was elite and to hear him talk about it and then display it was one of the most amazing things to witness while growing up. This mentality of his stretched beyond sport. He had many projects that were quickly growing. The children's books. The detail episodes. The youth coaching. Kobe was going to be a busy man in his "retirement" and if that isn't a perfect example of his mentality, then I don't know what is. May Kobe, his daughter Gianna, the baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife Keri Altobelli, their daughter Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, and the other two unnamed individuals rest in peace.

'Til next time, this has been Gavin Rushnell.
