Daily Update: 1/2/2020

It‘s weird writing 2020 in the header. Like. I’m so used to 201x. We’ve all been doing it for quite awhile now. 2020. 2020. I’m gonna have to get used to it. Anyways. Only one thing to ramble about today. Let’s do it.

Dom Dwyer (@TransfersMLS)

Last night (After I posted) it was revealed that the problem with a potential Dom Dwyer to Minnesota United trade was that Dom wants a new 3 year deal, which MNUFC are reluctant to give. I know what some of you are thinking. You’re thinking “he had the chance in the Quintero trade but he waived it. Why go now?” Things change over time and it’s been well over a month since that happened. Maybe this time around he said he would like to go but only on the condition that he got a 3 year deal. I don’t really know. We’ll see what happens though in the coming days and weeks. Something to keep an eye on though is Dom just put on social media that he is in San Diego. His agent lives in Los Angeles. Could they be meeting up to discuss a contract offer? We shall see.
